The XCaliber Wood is designed for intermediate to advanced riders looking for a freestyle model that can perform in varied water conditions.

Nothing beats the feel of a natural wood core when it comes to a high performance dampened ride. The XCaliber Wood shares the same shape as its carbon counterpart but has a completely different ride, especially in less than perfect water conditions. The wood construction absorbs the chop like no other giving you a softer ride and the ability to edge when the going gets tough. Better edging leads to better pop. And in freestyle, pop is everything.

Properties XCaliber Wood 2019

	Wood Core Cabrinha uses a premium “A-grade” Paulownia wood core which is vertically laminated to optimize strength, reduce weight and allow the board to flex more naturally and freely. Found in all 2018 models.
	ABS Rails ABS is a tough hard wearing composite material which bonds very well to epoxy. This is used during the lay-up process ensuring a smooth, durable and consistent ride. All twin tip rails and insert blocks are made from ABS material.
	Fast Rocker Provides razor sharp responsiveness and stability for landings. Designed to get you up and riding quickly and upwind fast. Found on the Xcaliber Carbon and Xcaliber Wood.
	Moderate Flex The Riders that like to have fun doing a little of everything will want a moderate or medium flex that allows for easier landings, buttery turns, and more forgiveness in all kinds of conditions. Found on the Ace Wood and Xcal wood.

	Wood Core Cabrinha verwender einen Premium A-Klasse Paulownia Holzkern, der vertikal laminiert ist. Dieser bietet die optimale Stabilität und geringes Gewicht. Er erlaubt dem Board natürlich zu flexen und weist deutlich geringere Mengen an Knästen im Holz auf, was sich zusätzlich positiv auf das Flexverhalten auswirkt. Darüber hinaus sorgt es für enorme Präzision und geringere Toleranzen in der Produktion. Zu finden in allen 2019er Modellen.
	ABS Rails ABS ist ein sehr strapazierfähiger Füllstoff, der sich sehr gut mit Kunstharz verbindet. Das Material wird während des Laminierungsverfahrens verwendet und garantiert widerstandsfähige und robuste Boards. Alle Twin Tip Kanten und Insert Blöcke sind aus ABS Material gefertigt.
	Fast Rocker Bietet extreme Reaktionsfähigkeit und Stabilität bei Landungen. Entwickelt, um Dich schnell zum fahren zu bekommen und für extreme Upwind Performance. Verwendet beim Xcaliber Carbon und Xcaliber Wood.
	Moderate Flex Rider, die mit Spaß bei der Sache sind und von allem etwas tun wollen, wünschen sich eine moderate oder mittlere Biegung, die einfachere Landungen, butterweiche Wendungen bringt und unter jeder Bedingung mehr Fehlertoleranz bieten. Vorhanden bei Ace Wood und Xcal Wood.

About Cabrinha

A little over 20 years ago, in a small corner of the Haiku Cannery, in a small town on the island Maui, a small region of the vast Pacific Ocean, my friend Dan Bolfing and I were churning out kite boards under the Cabrinha design label. The work we were doing was something we both had done separately for many years but somehow this moment felt very different. The infant sport of kite surfing was a bottle rocket about to take off and we were holding on to the fuse in one hand and a box of matches in the other.
