The Quest in its third generation is taking its DNA from the Wam. There are plenty of riders out there looking to get their first surfboard for kiting, or just looking to improve their skills with a fast learning curve. The Quest gives them that opportunity. The wide point is pushed further forward, the width increased and the outline is straightened up a little to make the board exceedingly stable on the water. This helps it give the rider plenty of confidence when learning jibes and switching feet. You won’t grow out of the Quest quickly though, it can handle waves of all sizes and delivers lots of drive when you need it.
