Manera Exo
The EXO harness was launched in 2013 as the first harness to use a rigid construction to hold the rider's back. It is the result of a very long research and development process in collaboration with a human kinetic laboratory and the best team riders in the world.
BALLISTIC NYLON
Designed to be integrated into body armor designed by the Royal Air Force for its pilots. This material consists of thick nylon threads that are very tightly assembled, it offers excellent abrasion resistance and extreme durability.
SEAMLESS NEOPRENE AREA
Hips are a very sensitive part that is exposed to friction. To avoid injury, we have provided this area with a full piece of neoprene without seams and a double foam layer.
COCOON CONCEPT
This new way of manufacturing has placed the full thickness of the harness and all the protective foams between the ENERGY DISPERSION FRAME and the bodywork. By putting all the pulling forces on the outside, the total foam thickness reduces and absorbs energy to optimize comfort.
DOWN HOLD SYSTEM
Because there's nothing worse than a harness that slides up during your sessions, we've developed the DOWN HOLD SYSTEM, an asymmetric attachment that spreads the power down. Secured in its original position, the hook does not lift up anymore
ENERGY DISPERSIONS FRAME
The EDF is a hexagonal structure connected directly to the spreader rod, this element receives 100% of the dragline traction. Thanks to its shape and structure, the pressure spreads over a much larger area of the back and reacts better, continuously and smoothly. It protects the driver and avoids unwanted muscle effort to compensate for poor traction.
ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENT
The EXO harness has been designed to best fit the natural curves of the back, perfect to follow the movements of. Your body while riding. This is achieved by introducing his preformed ergonomic Shape on all material layers during Production. The harness finds its place of course around your back and can be complete once forgotten on the water.
LEASING RELEASE
Two line releases are integrated into the EXO harness so you can easily release your line, whether you are right or left. The leash may also be loose and slidable or clamped between the two rings.
NEST-FOAM
The NEST FOAM offers a better pad under tension with optimum comfort. The harness offers the driver maximum freedom of movement and flexibility. Over time, the foam retains its original shape and thickness, which maintains the comfort of the strap.
SPREEDER BAR SYSTEM
We wanted to avoid an unpleasant lateral contraction of the strap on the chest, which is why we adapt our SPREADER BAR to the belt sizes. A well-suited spreader bar will pull on both sides of the harness while a spreader bar that is too small will pull at an acute angle, putting the driver under pressure and causing uncomfortable pain.
TUCK FLAPS
The TUCK FLAPS are positioned at the ends of the spreader bar and inserted into the belt. Once the straps are tightened, they are squeezed and closed. The stiffening of the connection between the harness and the buckle prevents it from slipping up.
