The natural flex of a fibreglass shaft enables a gentler transfer of energy,coupled with the lightweight nature of fibreglass enables you to reach a greater stroke cadence, ideal for longer distance paddling.
The polyethylene blade remains rigid thanks to the longitudinal structural reinforcements throughout the blade. The rigidity of the polyethylene blade combined with the flexibility of the fibreglass shaft and overall lightweight feel makes the Glass Nylon an excellent alternative to heavier alloy paddles.
