The WindSUP Sail Packages are designed to power paddle boards fitted with mast tracks and light wind windsurfing boards. Starboard offers two options: the WindSUP Classic and the WindSUP Compact.
The WindSUP Compact Sail Package is the ultra-compact model. It is light, easy to assemble and the easiest to transport and store. To minimize its size, the sail package uses a 4-piece RDM mast and a 3-piece boom.
Available in 5.5m2 and 6.5m2.
A new boom with two-pin clips is now stronger and more reliable. The boom head has been redesigned for a more secure fit around the RDM mast and an overall stiffer front end. Adjustment holes on the back-end of the boom now faces down for water drainage after up hauling the sail. A simple trick that saves a lot of weight.
A new downhaul 3-roller hook pulley makes down hauling hassle-free. Downhaul line comes connected to the hook pulley for even faster and simple rigging. Just hook it to the grommet and downhaul.
The extension has also been reinforced in key stress areas for more durability and reliability. The plastic walls are now thicker and the push-pin system has been upgraded.
The new mast base with mechanical joint is the perfect solution for those up hauling frequently. The mechanical joint also helps to put less pressure on the mast track inserts of inflatable WindSUP boards.
The WindSUP Sails are made of Dacron 110 and 140 grams/m2 for lightness and durability at the same time. On the water, the sail feels light and powerful, generating a lot of forward pulling light summer winds.
The WindSUP Sails come with a bag that fits all of the packages` components.
